Manage voicemail on Avaya Application Server

So after a couple of months of recording calls the application server is getting full. ┬áTo delete the oldest calls I can’t use the 1XP or using an FTP client so I have to use Putty and some scripting.

Open Putty and connect to the Application Server via SSH.

After logging on using the username Administrator, type admin <enter>.

Enter the same password as above and <enter>.

Type root and enter the password (which was created when the Application Server was setup).

Now enter the following command to the oldest delete files on the relevant directory:

find /opt/vmpro/Accounts/Reception -mtime +60 -exec rm -f {} \;

The above will remove all files modified over 60 days ago in the Reception directory.
